ODE Starflex glasswool: why it is the first SKU we put on Hungarian attics

Glasswool is still the default for Hungarian attics and light partitions. We stock ODE Starflex because the factory file is complete and the landed price holds the 20–30 % gap versus merchant lists. That is the whole argument.

Why glasswool, not a slogan

It cuts, it fills joist bays, it does not need a wet trade, and auditors know the product family. Rockwool wins on façades and on fire-critical walls. XPS wins on plinths. Using Starflex on a plinth is the wrong conversation.

What is on the certificate, not on a slide

• Thermal: λ = 0.039 W/mK (ODE factory data we hold).
• CE and a Hungarian DoP (DOP_HU_UVEGGYAPOT_Starflex.pdf).
• EUCEB for the glasswool fibre.
• EPD S-P-00671.
• Plant ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

If a tender asks for a different λ, we say so. We do not relabel the roll.

Money and EKR

Obligated-party attic jobs want a listed thickness and a file. The pack we have shipped is 25 cm Starflex (2 × 12.5 cm) plus BBarrier foils. The obligated party still has to list that build-up. We do not put you on their list.
