Pure epoxy vs polyester chemistry
Unlike polyester or vinylester hybrid resins, pure epoxy systems contain 100 % reactive epoxy resins and amine hardeners with zero styrene or volatile diluents:
- Near-zero shrinkage: Maintains maximum adhesion to borehole walls in deep embedments.
- Water-saturated and flooded holes: Cures reliably even in damp substrates and submerged diamond-cored holes.
- Elevated temperature ceiling: Service temperature range up to +72 °C, outperforming polyester thresholds.
- Seismic categories: Validated for seismic C1 and C2 performance under European assessment frameworks.
