The national free attic scheme has ended — what that means for an owner

The former nationwide free attic-insulation program has ended. EuConX is not a HEM partner and does not promise HEM eligibility. The current offer is a paid turnkey service, separate from the Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EKR).

EKR is the energy-efficiency obligation of large energy suppliers. It is not a public-procurement portal, and it is not a building energy risk program. Whether an investment counts is not something a material supplier or a website decides.

The published starting price is 12 700 Ft/m² gross (10 000 Ft net + 27% VAT). That guide price includes standard material, delivery and installation, nationwide. The final technical scope and price are fixed in a written quote after a site survey. Clearing, repairs, a walkable deck and unusual access are separate items.

The planned build-up, as on the landing page: EuConX vapor-barrier membrane below, 25 cm EuConX–ODE glass wool in the middle (λ 0.039 W/mK; the page refers to ODE Starflex glass wool), EuConX vapor-open membrane above. The survey confirms the exact build-up. This is not a sole-source claim.

Signup is not a grant application and not free installation. The form asks for name, phone, email, town and approximate m². After it is sent we agree a survey time. The survey decides whether the deck can take the build-up.
